Spicy Thai Basil Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Cooked Jasmine Rice
  • ½ block Extra-firm Tofu
  • 6 oz Green Beans
  • 1 cup Fresh Thai Basil
  • 5 whole Garlic Cloves
  • 2 whole Fresh Red Chili
  • 3 tbsp Tamari
  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 whole Lime

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add tofu and cook 3–4 minutes until crispy. Remove.
  2. Add green beans and stir-fry 3 minutes until blistered. Add garlic and chili, stir 30 seconds.
  3. Add cold rice, breaking up clumps. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until rice is hot and starting to crisp.
  4. Pour tamari and maple syrup over the rice. Toss to coat. Return tofu to the wok.
  5. Remove from heat. Fold in Thai basil until just wilted. Season with salt to taste. Serve with lime wedges.
