
Spicy Thai Basil Fried Rice

Ingredients
- 4 cups Cooked Jasmine Rice
- ½ block Extra-firm Tofu
- 6 oz Green Beans
- 1 cup Fresh Thai Basil
- 5 whole Garlic Cloves
- 2 whole Fresh Red Chili
- 3 tbsp Tamari
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 whole Lime
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add tofu and cook 3–4 minutes until crispy. Remove.
- Add green beans and stir-fry 3 minutes until blistered. Add garlic and chili, stir 30 seconds.
- Add cold rice, breaking up clumps. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until rice is hot and starting to crisp.
- Pour tamari and maple syrup over the rice. Toss to coat. Return tofu to the wok.
- Remove from heat. Fold in Thai basil until just wilted. Season with salt to taste. Serve with lime wedges.
