  • 1 block Extra-firm Tofu
  • 2 heads Butter Lettuce
  • 1 can (8 oz) Water Chestnuts
  • 3 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Tamari
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 whole Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ginger
  • 4 whole Green Onions
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tsp Sriracha

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add crumbled tofu and cook 6–7 minutes until golden and slightly crispy.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, and water chestnuts. Stir 1 minute.
  3. Add hoisin sauce, tamari, and rice vinegar. Toss 2 minutes until everything is coated and heated through.
  4. Spoon the filling into lettuce cups. Top with green onions, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of sriracha.
