
Tofu Scramble with Homemade Spice Mix

Ingredients
- 1 block Firm Tofu
- ½ cup Nutritional Yeast
- 4 tsp Black Salt
- 3 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Ground Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Vegan Butter
Instructions
- In a small jar or bowl, combine the nutritional yeast, black salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground turmeric. Stir or shake well to form the spice mix.
- Melt the vegan butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the crumbled tofu to the skillet, breaking it into scrambled-egg-sized pieces with a spatula or wooden spoon.
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of the spice mix evenly over the tofu. Stir well to coat all the pieces and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until heated through and lightly golden.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately. Store any remaining spice mix in a sealed jar in the pantry for future use.
